I'm not sure when this took place, but I know Howard Stern has had members of the Phelps family on his radio show. Does anyone know where I can find this online? I looked on his website, and on youtube, with no success. Anyone out there have this link?

I feel a great sence of pity for The Phelps Regime/Cult/Family/Group. I am a gay man and have great reason to hate them, but my spritual beliefs of being a Pagan-Witch differ from hate. I believe in Light and Dark, and when I say Dark I don't mean evil. Sure, I would love to see Topeka, drive right up to their compound and sing, make out with my boyfriend (if I had one) as I plan to do in front of The White House in this wonderful last term of Bush. I know that it wouldn't make difference, as The Phelps are in their own beliefs system. I don't agree with anything they preach of course, When Mrs. Shirley Phelps Roper went on Hannitty and Colmes I was outraged. Yet, take a look at these people, as Jeasus says in The New Testmant, love your enimes. They all have this insane twinkle in their eyes. The thing that gives me hope are the children, the little tykes that hold the signs that their parents have they can't understand what they are holding. I hope that the parents don't continue their fathers path of child abuse. I would hate to be there. I give praise to the four children that left, that alone proves there is a gene of sanity in their family.

What worries me about the Phelps is that they are backed by a powerful lawfirm. They know they are safe. In all reality I think it will just get worse. I don't think the "cult" will disban with the death of Fred Phelps. A new leader will surcomb. I think it's sad though. I think about Judy Sheppard. I think about the mothers of the fallen soldgiers. I know one thing though. I don't want these people at my wedding, or my funeral. I cannot hope that they will change. It takes to much of my energy and it's pretty useless letting a 100 people in a population of millions to effect my daily life. That family has been through great pain, and that pain has processed into hate. Truthfully, all I can do is process pity for them. It couldn't be more obvious to say that they are preaching the wrong message, but the wrong attitude as well.

Two of Seaford, Delaware's fallen heroes have had the Phelps crew at their funerals. A group of 10 protesters came to MY HOME TOWN. A town of about 5,000 people. CPL Corey Palmer and CPL Richard James died two weeks ago due to an IED. That brings the total of deaths from this town to three. So anyway, a lot of people were pissed when they found out about the protesters coming out here, and about 1,000 people formed a barracade between the protesters and the funeral. 5 people got arrested, one for assault, three for damaging protester's property, and one for fighting with the police.

May all the fallen soldiers rest in peace.

Armed Teen in Massachusetts Attacks Gay Bar Patrons

How awful! I hope all three people who were injured are alright. How horrible can people be?? I mean, people are just going about their business and someone comes in with an ax to try and kill them???

Does anyone know what hospital the victims are at? We should all band together and send them cards.

I seriously hope the little prick who's the perp gets the full sentence possible. Too bad there's no death penalty for attempted murder. IMO, there should be the same sentence for attempted murder as for murder... You shouldn't get points for not succeeding.

Also, keep your eyes peeled for this guy. He's still on the loose.

Thank goodness! Also, Fred Phelps's daughter and granddughter sent in editorials to the local newspaper in my town for some odd reason I think they sent these to every newspaper, but replaced the names for whatever newspaper it was!
